What is a template quality rating?

A template quality rating is Meta's per-template score of how recipients react to it, shown as green (high), yellow (medium) or red (low), based mainly on blocks and reports relative to deliveries and on read and reply signals over a rolling window. A template that falls to low is paused, and repeated pauses disable it.

Quality is measured per number over a rolling window

Why it matters

Quality is measured per template as well as per phone number, so one bad campaign can sink a template while the number stays healthy, and a chronic pattern sinks both. The rating is the leading indicator: a template drifting from green to yellow is the moment to change the audience or the wording, before the pause.

In VGraple CRM

Each template shows its rating and history from Meta's webhook, with alerts when it changes. Broadcast reports put blocks and reports next to reads and replies per campaign, so you can see which send moved the rating, and delivery protection suppresses recipients who blocked or reported you so they never receive the next one.

Frequently asked questions

How fast does the rating change?
It is recalculated continuously on a rolling window; a bad campaign can move it within hours.
Does a low rating affect price?
No. It affects deliverability: pauses and, for the number, tier downgrades.
How do I recover a yellow template?
Send it only to engaged segments for a while, reduce frequency, and check the content for anything that invites blocks.
