In short
- Sinch does not publish a fixed price for its WhatsApp API anywhere we could find; every pricing page we checked on 26 Aug 2026 deferred to a sales quote
- Sinch is a global CPaaS built for enterprise developers integrating messaging into their own systems, not a ready-to-use inbox and CRM
- VGraple CRM has no equivalent to Sinch's SMS/voice fallback and global carrier network, but offers a shared inbox, CRM pipeline and delivery protection Sinch's public pages do not describe
Verdict
Sinch is a global cloud communications company offering SMS, voice, email and WhatsApp APIs to enterprises and developers, not a ready-to-use WhatsApp CRM. Every pricing page we checked on 26 Aug 2026 deferred to a custom quote with no published rate, which makes it impossible to budget for without a sales conversation. VGraple CRM states an exact monthly price and a zero-markup Meta rate on its pricing page, and includes a shared inbox, CRM pipeline and documented delivery protection that Sinch's public pages do not describe. Sinch is worth considering if you are an enterprise that needs SMS and voice fallback across many countries alongside WhatsApp; for a business that primarily needs a usable WhatsApp inbox and CRM, VGraple CRM is the more practical and transparent choice.
Pricing
We could not find a published subscription price or per-message rate for Sinch's WhatsApp offering. Its main WhatsApp product pages (sinch.com/apis/whatsapp/ and sinch.com/messaging/whatsapp-business-api/, checked 26 Aug 2026) state that "pricing is based on the number of provisioned WhatsApp phone numbers and total monthly messaging traffic (both outbound and inbound)" and that pricing "varies by region," with every page directing visitors to contact sales rather than listing a rate card. A community forum thread (community.sinch.com) exists specifically to answer WhatsApp pricing questions, which itself suggests the rate is not self-serve.

| Team size | VGraple CRM | Sinch |
|---|---|---|
| 2 agents, 2,000 marketing messages/month | Starter Rs 1,499 + Meta Rs 1,726 = Rs 3,225/month | Not published; contact sales for a quote |
| 8 agents, 15,000 marketing messages/month | Scale Rs 7,999 + Meta Rs 12,947 = Rs 20,946/month | Not published; contact sales for a quote |
| 20 agents, 50,000 marketing messages/month | Scale Rs 7,999 + Meta Rs 43,155 = Rs 51,154/month | Not published; contact sales for a quote |
VGraple CRM's Starter, Growth and Scale plans (Rs 1,499, Rs 3,499 and Rs 7,999/month, or Rs 1,199, Rs 2,799 and Rs 6,399/month billed annually) each state their agent count, contact cap and conversation limit, plus Meta's India rate (Rs 0.8631 per marketing message, Rs 0.115 per utility or authentication message, as of April 2026) with no markup added. Sinch's pricing model is per-message and varies by initiator, template category and market, similar in structure to Meta's own billing, but Sinch does not disclose whether or how much it adds on top of Meta's rate on any page we could check.

Where Sinch is stronger
- Genuine multi-channel fallback. Sinch's stated model of rerouting an authentication message to SMS or voice when WhatsApp is unavailable to a recipient is a real capability VGraple CRM does not offer at all, useful for a business sending OTPs or notifications across countries with inconsistent WhatsApp coverage.
- Global carrier reach and scale. As an established CPaaS vendor serving banks, telecoms and global retailers, Sinch is built to handle enterprise-scale message volume across many markets simultaneously.
- A Marketing Messages Lite API. Sinch specifically calls out "a simple, cost-efficient solution designed for high-volume WhatsApp marketing" as a distinct product, aimed at large broadcast senders.
- Deep encryption and compliance framing. Sinch's public pages foreground end-to-end encryption and compliance messaging (GDPR, India's IT Act, California's CCPA) more explicitly than most competitors we reviewed.
Where VGraple CRM is stronger
- Published, predictable pricing. VGraple CRM states its exact price on the pricing page. Sinch requires a sales conversation to learn what anything costs, which is a real barrier for a small or mid-size Indian business trying to compare options quickly.
- No development required. VGraple CRM is a ready-to-use product: connect your number and start using the inbox and automation immediately. Sinch's Conversation API is infrastructure meant to be integrated by a development team, not used directly by a business user.
- A shared inbox with assignment and collision detection. This is not documented as part of Sinch's core WhatsApp offering; VGraple CRM ships it on every plan.
- CRM pipeline, appointments and payments built in. None of these are part of Sinch's public feature list; VGraple CRM includes all three standard.
- Delivery protection specific to WhatsApp's real rules. VGraple CRM's pacing, daily budget tracking, auto-park on a paused template, and suppression logic tuned to Meta's actual error codes are all documented; Sinch's public pages do not describe equivalent WhatsApp-specific safeguards.
- A free plan with no time limit. VGraple CRM's Free plan requires no card and never expires. Sinch has no published free tier for WhatsApp.
Switching from Sinch
- Confirm WABA ownership. If your WhatsApp Business Account sits in your own Meta Business Portfolio, which is standard when using Sinch's API under your own account, you can move it without depending on Sinch.
- Reconnect through Meta's Embedded Signup. This is the standard way to change Tech Provider; your number and its message history and quality rating with Meta carry over unaffected.
- Export your contact data. Since Sinch is infrastructure rather than a CRM, your contacts likely live in whatever database or CRM your development team built on top of Sinch's API; export that data and import it into VGraple CRM's contacts module.
- Recreate templates. Templates belong to the WABA and submitting platform, not to Sinch, so rebuild each approved template in VGraple CRM's builder and resubmit for Meta's review.
- Rebuild custom logic in the flow builder. Any broadcast pacing, retry logic or chatbot behaviour your team built against Sinch's API needs to be recreated using VGraple CRM's no-code flow builder and automation rules, which typically replaces custom code your team previously had to maintain.
- Decide whether you still need SMS or voice fallback. If your use case genuinely requires SMS or voice fallback for recipients WhatsApp cannot reach, plan to keep a separate SMS/voice vendor alongside VGraple CRM, since VGraple CRM does not offer those channels.
What reviewers say
Sinch holds a 4.4 out of 5 rating from 1,293 reviews on G2 (g2.com/sellers/sinch, checked 26 Aug 2026), a large review count reflecting its broad CPaaS product portfolio rather than WhatsApp specifically. Capterra lists a related product, Sinch Engage, with support-channel details (email, FAQ, phone, 24/7 live chat) but reviewer feedback there is mixed, with some users citing inconsistent service and wanting clearer guidance.
VGraple CRM does not yet have a comparable public review count to cite honestly. Sinch's 1,293 G2 reviews span its entire product line (SMS, voice, verification, WhatsApp and more), so read reviews specifically tagged to its WhatsApp or Conversation API product rather than the aggregate score if you want a WhatsApp-specific read.
