  • Ten platforms compared: Wati, Interakt, AiSensy, Gallabox, DoubleTick, Zoko, Respond.io, SleekFlow, Kommo and VGraple CRM
  • The biggest cost difference is not the platform fee but whether Meta's message charges carry a markup; several Indian platforms quote per-message rates above Meta's
  • Pricing models split three ways: per seat, per conversation or contact, and flat plans; match the model to how you message
  • Each tool has a best-fit buyer; the matrix and the who-should-choose section make the choice quick

Every WhatsApp CRM in India runs on the same Meta API and pays Meta the same per-message rates, so the differences are in three places: what the platform charges and how, what it does with the inbox and automation, and how deep the CRM underneath is. This guide compares ten tools used by Indian businesses on those axes, with a matrix, a note on who each suits, and a method to price them on your own volume. Figures below were read from each vendor's public pricing page in August 2026 and can change; where a page did not state a number we say so rather than guess. VGraple CRM is our own product and is listed on the same terms as the others.

How to read the pricing column

Three models appear. Flat plans (VGraple CRM) charge for the software by seats, contacts and conversations and leave Meta to bill messages; the bill is predictable and message cost never changes. Credits and re-billing (Wati, Interakt, AiSensy) put Meta's charges on the vendor's invoice, often with a markup: Interakt's page states marketing at about Rs 0.95 to 0.97 and AiSensy's Rs 1.09 against Meta's Rs 0.8631, and utility at Rs 0.14 to 0.16 and Rs 0.145 against Rs 0.115. Contact-based (Respond.io, SleekFlow, ManyChat) charge by monthly active contacts, which suits deep conversations with few people and punishes broad utility messaging. The platform fee vs Meta charges guide shows how to build a two-column comparison on your own volume.

Who should choose what

  • A shop, clinic, salon or agency with one to fifteen people that wants everything in one tool, the owner's phone kept through coexistence, and no markup: VGraple CRM.
  • A team already deep in Wati's ecosystem with tolerance for add-on pricing and a need for its multilingual resources: Wati.
  • An Instagram-first brand that supports on Instagram DMs and sells on WhatsApp: Interakt, or VGraple CRM for the same channels with a CRM underneath.
  • A pure broadcaster with many agents and simple automation: AiSensy, with attention to its per-message rates.
  • A sales organisation wanting AI voice and web agents and many teams: Gallabox.
  • A Shopify store that wants commerce features first: Zoko; a Shopify store that wants a CRM around it: VGraple CRM via Zapier or webhooks.
  • A global support team on many channels with a contact-based budget: Respond.io or SleekFlow.
  • A small sales team that lives in a pipeline and wants the cheapest per-seat CRM with messaging: Kommo.

A method to decide in an afternoon

  1. Write down last month's numbers: seats, contacts, people messaged, marketing messages, utility messages.
  2. Price each candidate with its own model and its own per-message rate; add Meta's rate for the tools that bill directly.
  3. Shortlist two. Connect the same number to each on a free plan or trial, in coexistence mode if you need the app, and run a real week: inbound, a broadcast to fifty consenting contacts, one flow.
  4. Check the exit: can you export contacts and leads, and does the WhatsApp Business Account stay yours?
  5. Choose. The WhatsApp CRM guide explains the capabilities behind the matrix if any row is unfamiliar.

Frequently asked questions

What is a WhatsApp CRM?
Software that connects to the WhatsApp Business API and adds a shared team inbox, automation, broadcasts and customer records, so a business can sell and support on WhatsApp as a team.
Which is the cheapest?
It depends on volume. Flat plans with Meta billing you directly are cheapest at scale; per-message markups and per-contact pricing are cheapest only at tiny volumes. Run your own numbers with the method below.
Do all of these use the official API?
Yes; every tool listed is built on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. Tools that automate the WhatsApp app itself are excluded because they breach Meta's terms.
Which is best for a small business?
One with a real free plan or a low flat plan, coexistence so the owner keeps the app, and no markup: VGraple CRM, or Interakt's free Instagram tier if Instagram is the main channel.
Which is best for enterprise?
Gallabox and Respond.io for large teams with many channels; Gupshup for very high volumes with a sales relationship.
Which is best for e-commerce?
Zoko for Shopify-first stores; VGraple CRM or Interakt for stores that want a CRM around the store; ManyChat for Instagram-led brands.
Does the platform own my WhatsApp number?
Tech Providers (VGraple CRM among them) connect to a WABA you own; some BSP-model vendors hold the account. Ask before signing.
How were these compared?
From each vendor's public pricing and feature pages in August 2026, plus hands-on use of our own product; no vendor paid for placement.
