In short
- Zoko is built for Shopify and D2C e-commerce: WhatsApp catalogue sharing, cart recovery and order triggers
- Zoko charges its own per-conversation fee (as low as $0.00049 to as high as $0.015 per conversation depending on plan) in addition to Meta's own pass-through rate
- VGraple CRM is flat-priced with no markup on Meta's charges and works for any industry, not just Shopify stores
Verdict
Zoko is a WhatsApp commerce tool built specifically for Shopify and D2C brands, with product catalogue sharing and cart-recovery automation as its centre of gravity. VGraple CRM is a general-purpose WhatsApp CRM that works the same way for a salon, a clinic, a real-estate agency or a Shopify store, without layering its own per-conversation fee on top of Meta's charge the way Zoko does. If your business lives and dies by Shopify catalogue sales inside WhatsApp, Zoko's e-commerce depth is real; for most other businesses, or a Shopify store that also needs a sales pipeline and appointment booking, VGraple CRM covers more ground at a more predictable cost.
Pricing
Zoko's pricing page, checked 26 August 2026, lists four tiers: Starter at $49.99 a month (unlimited agents, no bundled conversations, every conversation billed at $0.015), Plus at $79.99 a month (5,000 conversations included, 5 agents, $15 per extra agent, $0.00199 per conversation beyond the included amount), Elite at $139.99 a month (100,000 conversations included, 10 agents, $12 per extra agent, $0.00099 per conversation beyond that), and Max at $499.99 a month (5,000,000 conversations included, 30 agents, $9 per extra agent, $0.00049 per conversation beyond that). Zoko states WhatsApp's Meta-side charge is pass-through at Meta's own rate card, but its per-conversation platform fee above is charged in addition to that, not instead of it. Add-ons include Premium Flows at $5.99 a month per custom flow beyond 11 free essential flows, and named AI agents at $24.99 a month each plus per-resolution or percentage-of-order fees. A 7-day free trial is offered with no credit card required.

The calculations below use $1 to Rs 87 (an approximate August 2026 rate, stated here as an assumption) and treat one Zoko "conversation" as roughly equivalent to one marketing message sent to a unique recipient, since Zoko bills by conversation rather than by message; this is the closest honest mapping to the message-count scenarios used throughout this comparison. Meta's own India rate card (April 2026) is Rs 0.8631 per marketing template message.
| Team size | VGraple CRM total | Zoko plan | Zoko platform fee | Meta pass-through charge | Zoko total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 agents, unlimited conversations | Rs 3,225 (Starter, Rs 1,499 + Rs 1,726 Meta) | Plus (5,000 included covers 2,000; 5-agent cap covers 2) | $79.99 (~Rs 6,959) | Rs 1,726 | ~Rs 8,685/month |
| 8 agents, 15,000 conversations/month | Rs 20,946 (Scale, Rs 7,999 + Rs 12,947 Meta) | Elite (100,000 included covers 15,000; 10-agent cap covers 8) | $139.99 (~Rs 12,179) | Rs 12,947 | ~Rs 25,126/month |
| 20 agents, 50,000 conversations/month | Rs 51,154 (Scale, Rs 7,999 + Rs 43,155 Meta) | Max (5,000,000 included; 30-agent cap covers 20) | $499.99 (~Rs 43,499) | Rs 43,155 | ~Rs 86,654/month |
VGraple CRM is cheaper at every size in this comparison, and the gap widens as the team grows because Zoko's platform fee is priced in USD and scales with both agents and plan tier, while VGraple CRM's four flat INR plans do not add a per-agent or per-conversation charge on top of the plan price.

Where Zoko is stronger
Shopify catalogue depth. Zoko's product is built around sharing a live Shopify product catalogue directly inside a WhatsApp conversation, letting a customer browse and add to cart without leaving the chat. This is a genuinely deeper commerce integration than VGraple CRM's payment-link approach for a store whose whole workflow is catalogue browsing on WhatsApp.
Cart-recovery and order-status automation out of the box. Prebuilt triggers for abandoned carts and order status, tied directly to Shopify events, are a specific, well-scoped e-commerce workflow Zoko has clearly optimised for.
Named, purpose-built AI agents. Guru, Wismo and Sello are each scoped to one job (FAQs, order tracking, sales), which can be easier to reason about for a small team than a general-purpose AI assistant, even though the per-resolution and percentage-of-sale pricing adds up at volume.
Human-scale support hours. Zoko lists specific, modest support hours (Monday to Saturday, 10AM to 7PM IST per prior research) rather than an enterprise SLA, which some small teams find a more honest signal than vague "24/7" claims.
Where VGraple CRM is stronger
No markup on top of Meta's rate. VGraple CRM is a Meta Tech Provider with no separate per-conversation platform fee; Zoko's own pricing page confirms it charges its own conversation fee in addition to Meta's pass-through rate.
A free plan, not just a trial. VGraple CRM's Free plan has no time limit. Zoko offers a 7-day trial and then requires a paid plan.
Works for any industry. VGraple CRM's leads pipeline, lead scoring and appointment booking serve a salon, a clinic, a coaching institute or a real-estate agency exactly as well as a Shopify store; Zoko's standout features assume a product catalogue behind the conversation.
A visual chatbot flow builder. VGraple CRM's drag-and-drop flow builder handles branching, variable collection and conditional routing for any conversation type, not just order-status and cart triggers.
Coexistence. Keep the WhatsApp Business app on your phone and the API connected to the same number at the same time, with chats and contacts syncing both ways.
Predictable, flat cost. VGraple CRM's four plans do not have a per-agent add-on fee or a per-conversation surcharge; Zoko's total climbs with both team size and conversation volume, on top of its base plan price, as shown in the pricing table above.
Switching from Zoko
- Move the WhatsApp number. If your WABA sits in your own Meta Business Portfolio, reconnect it to VGraple CRM through Embedded Signup; the number's quality rating and messaging tier carry over.
- Recreate your Shopify-linked workflows. Zoko's catalogue-sharing and cart-recovery triggers are Shopify-specific automations; rebuild the equivalent flow logic (order confirmation, abandoned-cart follow-up) in VGraple CRM's flow builder and drip sequences, and use payment links from your own Stripe or Cashfree account for checkout inside chat.
- Resubmit templates if you create a new WABA. Templates stay with the WABA if it does not change; if it does, copy the wording from Zoko's console and resubmit, which typically approves within the hour for straightforward templates.
- Export your contacts. Pull contacts and any tags out of Zoko as a CSV and import into VGraple CRM; duplicates merge automatically on phone number.
- Set up your leads pipeline. Since Zoko has no Kanban pipeline, this is new territory rather than a migration: define your pipeline stages in VGraple CRM (for example, enquired, quoted, paid) and start routing conversations into it from day one.
What reviewers say
Search-indexed results for Zoko's G2 listing, checked 26 August 2026 (G2's own page returned an access-denied response to a direct fetch), show 4.5 out of 5 from only 5 reviews, a sample too small to draw strong conclusions from in either direction. We did not find a usable Capterra listing for Zoko specifically in this pass. VGraple CRM's own review presence is newer; check its current G2 or Capterra listing directly, since a small review count on either platform can shift quickly with just a handful of new reviews.
If Shopify catalogue browsing inside WhatsApp is the core of your use case, evaluate Zoko's own product pages for that specific feature directly, since it is the one area where its positioning is clearly deeper than a general-purpose WhatsApp CRM.
