Product message (catalog)
A product message is an interactive WhatsApp message that displays items from a business's Meta catalog inside the chat: a single product message shows one item with image, name and price; a multi-product message shows up to 30 items in sections. Customers can view details, add items to a cart and send the cart back as an order message.

Why it matters
Product messages are WhatsApp's native storefront: no link-out, prices in the chat, a cart the customer builds and sends. They are free inside the window, work in flows for "show me your menu" moments, and the resulting order message carries the items and quantities as structured data ready for a payment link.

Connect the Meta catalog in Settings and the flow builder's product node lets you pick items or sections to show; order messages arrive in the inbox with the cart contents and can trigger a payment link and an order record. Catalog templates for outside-the-window sends are supported where Meta offers them.
