Error 131037 means the business phone number you send from does not have an approved display name. Meta reviews display names. Check the status in WhatsApp Manager and, if the name was rejected or is pending, change it to one that follows Meta's display name rules.
Symptom
Sends from a newly connected number fail with 131037, or a number that worked earlier stops after its display name was edited.
Why it happens
- Every business number needs a display name approved by Meta before it can message customers freely. A new name, or a changed one, is queued for review.
- A name is rejected if it does not match the business, uses generic or misleading words, or breaks Meta's display name guidelines.
Fix
- In Meta Business Suite open WhatsApp Manager, then Phone numbers, and read the display name status.
- If it is pending, wait for Meta's review. It is usually quick but not instant.
- If it was rejected, change the display name to the registered business name, or a clear version of it, and submit again.
- Avoid generic words, extra punctuation and names that belong to another brand.
- When the status is approved, send a test message before starting a campaign.
In VGraple CRM
VGraple CRM shows the number on Channels, but the display name itself is set and approved in Meta.
