Error 131005 means Meta refused a request because the app does not have the permission it needs, or the permission was removed. In VGraple CRM it usually means the connection to your WhatsApp account needs to be re-authorised. Reconnect the number from Channels.
Symptom
Sending, loading templates or syncing a phone number fails with 131005, often for every message at once, and often after a change in Meta Business settings.
Why it happens
- The access token behind the connection no longer carries the permission the request needs. It happens when someone removes the app or its permissions in Meta Business settings, when the person who connected the number leaves the business portfolio, or when a permission is revoked during a review.
- Because the token belongs to the connection and not to a single message, every send fails the same way until the connection is renewed.
Fix
- Open Settings, then Channels, then WhatsApp, and look at the number's status. A connection that needs attention is shown there.
- Reconnect the number from the same screen and accept every permission Meta asks for. Do not untick any of them.
- In Meta Business settings, check that the person who connected still has full access to the business portfolio and the WhatsApp account, and that the app has not been removed from the account.
- After reconnecting, send one test message from the inbox before restarting a broadcast.
- If Meta lists the app as having no access even though you granted it, send us the time and the number. Open Support in the app and send the exact error text, the time and the number it happened on; the thread keeps the history.
In VGraple CRM
VGraple CRM shows the state of each connected number on Channels, and the failed message shows the code and Meta's text. Reconnecting renews the permissions without touching chats or contacts.
