Template header
A template header is the optional component at the top of a WhatsApp message template. It can be a short line of text (up to 60 characters, one variable allowed), or a single media item: an image, a video, a document such as a PDF, or a location. Media headers are supplied as a sample at review and as a real file or link at send time.

Why it matters
Headers drive engagement: an image or a product PDF in the header is what makes a broadcast look like a brochure instead of a text message, and a document header is how invoices, itineraries and reports travel in a template. They also carry rules: media must be sent as a public URL or an uploaded media ID, size limits apply (5 MB images, 16 MB video, 100 MB documents), and the sample at review should represent what you will send.
In VGraple CRM
The builder uploads the sample media, sets the header type and previews it on the handset mock-up. At send time you can attach a per-recipient document (an invoice for each customer) or one shared image; broadcasts reuse an uploaded media ID so a thousand sends do not download the file a thousand times.
