DELIVERY AND LIMITS
Held message
A held message is a message in a VGraple CRM broadcast that the delivery engine has deliberately not sent yet, or has stopped after a Meta signal, instead of marking it failed: because the daily messaging limit is used up, the recipient is frequency-capped (131049), Meta is pacing the template, the template is paused (132015), or the number is rate-limited (130429). Held messages resume automatically when the condition clears.

Why it matters
Most tools treat these conditions as failures, which wastes the send, confuses the report and, since April 2026, triggers Meta's retry penalties when people click resend. Holding preserves the recipient, retries at the right time, and keeps the report honest about what actually failed (wrong numbers, blocks) versus what is merely waiting.
In VGraple CRM
The broadcast report shows a Held column with the reason per recipient and the expected retry time; the campaign resumes on its own and you can release, reschedule or cancel held recipients in bulk. The broadcast stuck guide explains each hold state.
