Meta Business Portfolio
A Meta Business Portfolio (formerly Business Manager account) is the top-level Meta object that owns your Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, ad accounts and WhatsApp Business Accounts. Business verification, payment methods and the shared marketing messaging limit introduced in October 2025 are all attached to the portfolio rather than to any single number.

Why it matters
Since October 2025 Meta pools the marketing messaging limit at portfolio level, so two numbers under one portfolio share one daily allowance of unique marketing recipients. Business verification is also done once per portfolio and unlocks higher tiers, the display name review and the Official Business Account request. A portfolio with a policy strike can see every asset under it restricted at once.

The delivery-protection engine reads the portfolio-level limit, not only the number's tier, when it plans a broadcast so the count you see before sending is the one Meta will honour.
