Embedded Signup
Embedded Signup is Meta's pop-up onboarding flow that lets a business create or connect a WhatsApp Business Account and phone number from inside a Tech Provider's or BSP's software in a few minutes. It handles Business Portfolio selection, WABA creation, number verification and permission grants in one guided window.

Why it matters
Before Embedded Signup, getting on the API meant manual Business Manager setup, developer app configuration and days of waiting. The flow collapsed that to a two-minute pop-up and made self-serve WhatsApp software viable. It is also the only Meta-sanctioned way for a Tech Provider to receive a token to your account, so a provider that asks you to paste a token by hand is doing something Meta does not intend.
