132005 means the translated template text is too long. 132007 means the template content violates a WhatsApp policy. 132012 means a variable value does not match the format the template was approved with. Fix the template or the value, then resend.
Symptom
A template send fails with one of these codes, for every recipient or for contacts with certain values.
Why it happens
- 132005: a translation of the template is longer than WhatsApp allows for that language version.
- 132007: the content breaks a policy, so Meta refuses to send it even though a version of it was approved earlier or is in review.
- 132012: the values for the variables do not follow the template's format, such as text where a number is expected or a value that is too long.
Fix
- 132005: shorten the translated text for that language in WhatsApp Manager or the template editor, then wait for approval of the new version.
- 132007: read Meta's reason for the template in the Templates page, correct the content and resubmit. Do not resend the old version.
- 132012: check what each variable holds. Map fields that match the expected format, add a fallback, and filter out contacts with empty or odd values.
- After the fix, send to one test number before the full audience.
In VGraple CRM
The Templates page shows Meta's status and reason for every template and language, and the failed message shows the code and Meta's text.
