On this page
An offer is a commercial arrangement the VGraple team attaches to one organisation: a free period, then a discounted period, then the standard price of the plan. It is the mechanism behind early-access and partner pricing. This guide explains where you see it, how it is applied, what is charged when, and the rules that come with it, so nothing on the Billing page is a surprise.
Where the offer appears
When an offer is on your organisation, Settings, Billing shows a card called Your offer above the plan cards. It names the offer, the plan it applies to, and reads the whole arrangement in one sentence, for example: "First month free, then 50% off (Rs 3,999/month) for 5 months, then Rs 7,999/month."
Below that sentence is a table with one row per period of the offer:
- Free period: the dates it covers, counted from today, and "Free".
- Discounted period: its dates, the standard price crossed out, and the amount you actually pay per month or per year.
- Standard pricing: the date it starts and the plan's regular price.
If the offer must be started by a certain date, that date is on the card too. Nothing on the card is a marketing estimate: the amounts and dates are the same numbers the payment provider is instructed to charge.
Starting the offer
There is no code to type. Pick how you want to pay and the offer is applied at checkout:
- Start with card. You are taken to the card checkout. During a free period the card is saved and nothing is charged today; the first charge is the discounted amount on the date the free period ends, and every later charge happens automatically on your renewal date. If there is no free period, the first discounted amount is charged straight away.
- Start free, pay later by UPI (where UPI and netbanking checkout is enabled). The free period starts immediately with no payment. Nothing is ever charged automatically on this path: before the free period ends we email you the exact amount for the next period, and you pay it from the Billing page. Each later period works the same way.
If your offer applies to more than one plan or billing cycle, the card lets you pick which one before you start; the table updates as you choose.
What happens after activation
The card switches to show where you are in the offer:
- The current phase (free period, discounted period, or standard pricing) and the one line that matters: what you pay until which date, and what comes after, for example "Rs 3,999/month until 4 Mar 2027, then Rs 7,999/month."
- The next charge: the amount and the date. For card payments it says the charge is automatic; for UPI it reminds you that you pay from this page after our email.
- The full period table with the current row marked and finished rows dimmed.
You receive an email when the offer starts (with the full period table), when the discounted period begins, and when standard pricing resumes. Card customers also get the payment provider's own reminder a few days before the first charge after a free period.
Receipts
Every receipt for a discounted period lists three lines: the plan at its standard price, the offer discount with the offer's name, and the amount paid. Receipts are on the Billing page under Payment History, and the same figures appear in the card provider's invoices.
The rules
- One offer, one redemption. An offer is used once, on the organisation it was created for. It cannot be transferred, shared, or combined with a promotion code.
- Plan changes are paused while the offer runs. The offer is agreed for a specific plan, so the plan cannot be switched until the offer has run its course. Updating your card, downloading invoices and cancelling remain available. If you need a different plan, ask in Support.
- Cancelling ends the offer. You keep the period you are in. Subscribing again later is billed at the standard price; the offer is not restored.
- Referral credits come after the offer. The offer sets the price of the period; any referral credit you hold is then applied to the next invoice that has an amount due, reducing it further.
- Meta's message charges are separate, as always: they are billed by Meta to your Business Portfolio and are not affected by an offer.
If something looks wrong
The card and the emails are generated from the same figures the payment provider is given, so a mismatch between what you were told in Support and what the card shows is worth a message straight away: open Support from the app and quote the offer name. Nothing is charged during a free period, so there is time to sort out any question before the first payment.
