On this page
Three currencies meet in a WhatsApp CRM, and they are set in three different places. The one your workspace shows amounts in is a setting you control. The one you pay the subscription in follows your billing details. The one Meta bills message charges in is set by Meta. This page says where each one lives and what changing it does.
The display currency
Settings, then General, has a Currency field. It decides how money is shown everywhere in the app: deal values on leads and the pipeline board, revenue figures in analytics, the cost estimate before a broadcast or a flow send, payment requests, and the figures in notifications and emails. It also decides which currency a new amount is entered in.
- A workspace created on or after 22 October 2026 starts on the currency of the country it signed up from: rupees for India, the national currency where the app supports it (US dollars, euros, pounds, dirhams, riyals, Indonesian rupiah, Brazilian reais, Mexican pesos, Singapore, Australian and Canadian dollars, Turkish lira, Pakistani rupees, naira, rand), and US dollars for any other country.
- A workspace created before that date started on Indian rupees whatever its country. If yours did, change the field once; it takes effect immediately.
- Changing it converts nothing. Amounts already recorded keep the currency they were recorded in: a lead's deal value keeps the currency chosen when it was entered, a revenue entry keeps its own, and a payment request keeps the currency it was raised in. New amounts use the new setting.
The time zone next to it works the same way and is covered in plans, limits and billing.
The billing currency
What you pay VGraple CRM in is decided by the Billing details card under Settings, then Billing, and not by the display currency.
| Your business is | You pay in | Tax | Through |
|---|---|---|---|
| In India | Indian rupees | 18 percent GST on top, with a GST tax invoice | Cashfree: UPI, netbanking or card |
| Anywhere else | US dollars | No GST (a zero-rated export) | Stripe: card |
The prices on the pricing page are shown in both. The choice is fixed after your first payment; a business that moves country afterwards changes it through Support so the invoices stay right. AI credit packs follow the same rule as the subscription.
Meta's currency
Meta bills message charges to you directly, through your WhatsApp Business Account's payment method, in the currency of your Meta billing account. VGraple CRM does not collect them and adds nothing to Meta's rates; see platform fee versus Meta message charges. Meta publishes its rates per market, and the pricing by country pages carry them.
The cost estimate you see before a send is worked out from Meta's published rate for the market you are sending to and shown in your display currency, so it reads alongside your other figures. It is an estimate. Meta's invoice is the bill, and the Charged figure on a finished broadcast is what Meta reported for it.
Settings and options
| Setting | Where | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Currency | Settings, General | How amounts are shown and which currency new amounts are entered in. Takes effect at once; converts nothing |
| Billing details | Settings, Billing | Rupees with GST through Cashfree for a business in India; US dollars through Stripe for everyone else. Fixed after the first payment |
| Deal value currency | On each lead | The currency a lead's value was entered in; defaults to the display currency |
| Meta billing | Your Meta business account | The currency Meta bills message charges in. Not a VGraple CRM setting |
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Figures show a rupee sign but the business is elsewhere | The workspace was created before 22 October 2026 and kept the old default | Settings, General, Currency: pick yours. Nothing is converted |
| A lead shows a different currency from the rest of the board | Its deal value was entered before the currency was changed, or with a different currency chosen on the lead | Edit the lead and re-enter the value in the currency you want |
| The invoice is in US dollars but the business is in India | The billing details say the business is outside India | Contact Support from the app; the currency is fixed after the first payment and a correction is made by hand |
| The cost estimate and Meta's invoice differ | The estimate uses Meta's published rate in your display currency; Meta bills in its own currency at the rate on the day, and only for delivered messages | Treat the estimate as a guide and Meta's invoice as the bill |
