Drip sequence
A drip sequence is a scheduled series of messages sent to one contact over a period of days or weeks after an enrolment event (a new lead, a form, a stage change, a tag), with delays between steps. On WhatsApp, steps sent outside the 24-hour window must be templates, and a good sequence pauses or exits the moment the contact replies or a person takes over.

Why it matters
Sequences do the follow-up humans forget: the day-2 nudge, the day-5 case study, the day-10 "shall I close this?". They are also where WhatsApp differs from email: every step outside the window costs a template send, marketing steps need consent and an opt-out, and a sequence that keeps firing after the customer replied reads as spam.
In VGraple CRM
Sequences enrol contacts from leads, forms, tags, stages and automation rules; each step has a delay, a template or free-form message (the engine picks based on the window), and category-aware rules. Enrolment pauses when the contact replies or an agent writes and exits on conversion or opt-out. The sequences guide covers building and reporting.
