When to send it
Marketing templates promote something: an offer, a launch, a reminder to come back. They cost the marketing rate (Rs 0.8631 per message in India from April 2026), require the contact to have opted in, must include a clear way to opt out, and are subject to Meta's per-user frequency capping: if a customer has received several marketing messages from different businesses recently, Meta may hold or drop yours (error 131049). Send them to people who engage, at a sensible cadence.
Use case: New Service Launch. Send it as a broadcast to a segment that has opted in, or as a step in a drip sequence. VGraple CRM shows the estimated Meta cost and the live recipient count before you send.
Approval tips
- Lead with the value in the first line; WhatsApp shows roughly the first 60 characters in the notification.
- Include an opt-out instruction ("Reply STOP to unsubscribe"). VGraple CRM processes STOP in many languages and suppresses the contact automatically.
- Attach a quick-reply button where a reply is the goal. Replies open a 24-hour service window in which follow-ups are free.
- Meta needs a sample value for every variable at submission time. The gallery supplies realistic samples for this template, so approval is usually quick.
- Template names must be lowercase with underscores; the gallery uses
salon_new_serviceas the base name and adds a suffix if you already have one.
Cost per message
